How to sign up your existing clients to VirtualRecConnect.ca
Who is eligible?
This shortcut into the Virtual Rec Connect program is for your existing clients who are already familiar with virtual day programs and know how to use Zoom. For brand new clients who require a more in-depth intake process, please click here.
Before you start
- Make sure your client is aware that they are being referred to another program offered by a separate agency.
- When you refer your client, they will be contacted by a Virtual Rec Connect staff member who will:
- get them registered
- teach them how to navigate the site and sign up for programs
- pre-register them to any programs they are interested in
- You will have the option to choose an appointment time when a Virtual Rec Connect staff member can call your client back. You can skip this and send a non-booked referral if you like.
- The client should be aware that the phone call may come from an unknown number.
Ready to get started?
After your client has been referred
- They or their caregiver will receive an email confirmation that the request has been sent.
- They will receive a phone call from the Virtual Rec Connect staff member to proceed with next steps.
- You may be contacted if the Virtual Rec Connect staff member has any questions about the client's file.
